While the Launceston City Council continues
to consider a new Aquatic Centre good outdoor
facilities are available at WINDMILL HILL
in the warmer season,when that facility closes
for the cooler months the indoor pool at MOWBRAY
opens.
The future of the recreational pool at the
Cataract Gorge is currently under review.
There are also a number of swimming holes
around the city that are popular with
Launceston Youth e.g. The Cataract Gorge,
Duck Reach,,Corra Lynn,and St Leonards
