Launceston has some excellent basket ball players
in all grades.

Basketball is expected to get better with the appointment of David Munns as Head Coach -Intensive Training Centre Programme and Development.

Last Month (March),Munns,a level 2 accredited coach was appointed to be based in Launceston and taking over from former basketball manager Peter Robertson.

David 24,is assistant coach of the Launceston Tornadoes ABA team and is head coach of the Tasmania under-16 junior womens team.


The Launceston Tigers were looking to string 2 victories together when they took on the Australian Institute of Sport at at Elphin ,April 8.

Glen Dunne,19 stands out as a quiet achiever.
This 179 cm guard is looking forward to a few more wins this season.

Glen has been playing basketball since the age of ii is now a permanent starter
