AFL AUSKICK PROGRAMME

AUSKICK is a most important introduction
to Australian Football for children aged
from 5 - 12.AUSKICK is a modified form of
the game that is seen at the senior level.

Football Tasmania hopes to achieve 60 - 65
AUSKICK centres around the state,developing
the skills of 2500 young Tasmanian footballers.

Tasmania's AUSKICK players will be featured
during half time of the AFL Match between
Hawthorn and the Adelaide Crows ,Sunday.May 6
at YORK PARK with a major AUSKICK display
and grid games at half time

kit for use in primary and Secondary Schools.

FOOTBALL TASMANIA and THE MERCURY have
devised a competition MERCKICK to find
the longest kicker in the state.

The student must be underc 18 and able
to kick a football a minimum of 45m.
Schools throughot the state have been
asked to nominate 1 student,male or female.
Each student has 3 kicks.

Schools representatives will compete
in the half time break at each of
TASMANIA'S nine home VFL games with the
winners being decided in the final game
at YORK PARK in Launceston on August 25.
