THE HEROES

THE LEGENDS

THE AFL MATCH,HAWTHORN vs ADELAIDE
AT YORK PARK,SUNDAY MAY 6 WAS THRILLING
ESPECIALLY THE CAVALCADE OF FOOTY GREATS.

The historic match at York Park, was extra
special to Hawthorn Football Club because
it was the ground for Peter Hudson's debut
in the brown and gold.

October 9, 1966, was the day Hudson first
played for Hawthorn, in an exhibition match
against North.

A skinny 20-year-old (he was listed in the
record that day at 13 stone) Hudson had played
the year with TFL side New Norfolk and signed
with Hawthorn after also being named an
All-Australian.
