JUNIOR FOOTY

MBF STATE MANAGER and former Hawthorn Footballer recently announced an $80,000 sponsorship of junior football in Tasmania.

The sponsorship will include funds for a major country championship for players aged 8 -16.

The MBF COMMUNITY FOOTBALL programme will provide support to the 3 major junior leagues in Tasmania the NWJFU,NTJFA and the STJFL, assisting around 4000 juniors.

Mr Hudson believes a crowd of more than 18,000 would attend the AFL match between Hawthorn and Adelaide at York Park on May 6.

Mr Hudson said that MBF regarded the junior football development programme as one of it's most important sponsorships,as it will act as a catalyst to encourage more children to become active in sport.

Always back up
No matter where a ball is hit, you should be moving somewhere. Even if the ball is not hit towards you, you should be moving to a position in case of an error or overthrow.
