Recreation is a most useful method to the disheartened people to restore hope in future and forget their past in which they were ill-treated and felt alienated.

Premadhara through provision of Audio, Video musical instruments and T.V. shows,provides hope to the orphans for the future.

Industrial, agricultural and some handicraft, activities that are income generating are also useful activities run by the society. .

Provision of Income generating programmes allows them to have the confidence in their skills and abilities to live by their sweat of the brow and enables them to be prepared to support others

The Premadhara Educational Society and Cultural Activities

run an orphanage in Andhra Pradesh South India ,

with the help of some voluntary workers locally,

Outside Funding is scarce.

They are asking for people to consider how they can help provide needed services.

The orphanage is not supported by any international agencies or organizations.

Most of the children in their orphanage lost their parents due to HIV/AIDS.

The great drought conditions in South India has resulted in crop losses in millions of rupees. So the market prices are very high right now in India.

This makes it very hard to continue the orphanage .

Perhaps individuals or community groups

might like to organise collections of food, toys, books, clothes

or anything else,in their neighbourhoods.

Though be aware that sending any thing to the orphanage may not be that safe.

Registered Mail is recommended or else your gifts may not even make it through customs because some robbers target valuable material or money checks.
