SPECIAL CHILDREN OF THE 60's

DIANA SPENCER born JULY 1 1961

Had no idea of how her life would affect
the entire world as she was growing up,from the
first meeting with the HRH Prince Charles as a
child it seemed that they were destined to be married.
Unfortunately her life and career was just beginning to take shape when a "road accident" in Paris ended everything
for HRH DIANA,PRINCESS of WALES on AUGUST 31,1997.

The former Duchess of York,Sarah Ferguson
has remarked that Diana's talent was blooming
at the time of her death, she has been reported to have said that Diana would have been magnificent in her 40's as a mother and an important humanitarian.

Many of the causes that she supported continue to reap a benefit from her being involved with them still today as
a result of special funds being established following her death.

Kylie born in December 1968, has been in television drama, (The Neighbours and earlier the Henderson Kids)
movies THE DELINQUENT.
Shewas criticised for the way she was a "manufactured"
popstar, this being the latest trend with a television show in AUSTRALIA,UK and the USA conducting cattle calls of hopeful wannabes and then following the progress of the new unnamed group.

Already in Australia we have had BARDOT formed and SCANDAL'US.

One of Kylie's earliest hits wasc LOCOMOTION previously
a hit from LIITLE EVA.

Kylie has been known as "The BUDGIE because of her
light voice.

Thousands of excited fans gave Australian pop princess
Kylie Minogue a hero's welcome

A capacity 10,000 plus audience packed Sydney's
Entertainment Centre and let out a deafening mix of
screams and cheers as a video montage covering the pop
diva's singing and acting career appeared on two large
screens.

They did the same when Minogue, 32, descended onto
the stage at about 9pm, perched on a large anchor for
her opening song, Loveboat.

The former Neighbours television star turned successful
international pop act opened her tour at Brisbane's
Entertainment Centre on Saturday in front of 11,000 fans
at her first Australian concert in three years.

"This is my opening night in Sydney and I'm glad to be
with you," she told the audience.

"Are you all comfortable? ... It's all about service. If I can get anything for anyone, just let me know."

Later, after performing a medley of her 80s hits to a
backdrop of "Kylie" in bright white lights and several disco
balls hanging from the top of the stage, she took the
opportunity to thank her dedicated fans.

"There's a lot of you that have supported me for many,
many, many years. This is a great opportunity to say
personally thank you very much," she said.

As expected, Minogue's first Sydney concert attracted a
diverse mix of fans from teenyboppers to 20-somethings
as well as her most loyal devotees, the gay community
and those in their 30s that have followed her career since
Neighbours days.

Among the more loyal attendees were Sydney North
Shore foursome of 20-year-olds Fiona Kelsall, Jo
O'Sullivan, Lizzy Nadin and Cathy Riddeppe all from
Frenchs Forest, in matching black outfits and sporting pink
feather boas.
"We want Kylie to see us," said Miss O'Sullivan. "We're
sitting in the third row.

"We slept out for the tickets. We've been waiting for this
concert for five months."

However, two of the more colourful characters at the
event were outrageously dressed Sydney drag queens
Atlanta Georgia and Penny Tration.

"It's great to be able to come to Chinatown in drag
without being attacked," Ms Georgia told AAP.

"We've seen more permed hair tonight than we ever did
when we were at University."

Ms Tration said she was wearing a pink PVC outfit tonight
"so that when I start crying, it's wipe dry".

Six of Kylie's seven Sydney performances have been sold
out after demand forced promoters, Frontier Touring, to
add four more dates to the city's schedule.

During a nationally-syndicated radio interview
Minogue showed no sign of throwing the towel in after
her biggest ever Australian tour.

"I don't really know what's around the corner, but I'm full
of enthusiasm," she told the Austereo network.

She said she was particularly keen to start work on her
new album after finishing the tour.
