and aluminium, weekdays only,must be sorted
BOAGS BREWERY Monday to Friday to 4-15pm only
glass and aluminium, recyclers are trusted to leave glass and cans in a comingled apple crate - operated,unsupervised by SELF HELP.
REMOUNT RECYCLE - at entrance to tip, a wide range of recyclables maybe left,patrons are encouraged to sort own
material by variety.
Fees are charged,depending on size of vehicle.

CLOTHING AND HOUSEHOLD GOODS
July is Salvation Army Recycle Month.Most stores can accept clothes,bric a brac and furniture.Clothing bins are located
everywhere.Phone the number on the bin if your item is too big for the bin,or if you are unsure whether your unwanted
goods are suitable.contact the SALVOS website,other clothing bins are also provided by such organisations as CITY MISSION and ST VINCENT de PAUL.

THE BODY SHOP,RED EARTH and HUNTERS PRODUCTS
Will take back their containers for refill or recycle.
CORKS
Australiawide the Girl Guides collect corks for recycling into new product as a fundraiser,corks can be left at The Body Shops nationally.

WOW WASTE is run by a committee of Grade 6 children,parents and staff at StThomas Mores - Newstead
They collect shop,office and industry waste material,offcuts etc as a reverse garbage operation and resell it to
schools,playgroups,craftspeople etc. Items that can be found include cardboard boxes,plastic cones,wood,leather scraps,Maetstrips,foam,fabric,paper,cardboard,cylinders,
foil,cellophane,springs and more.
All materials are available for a gold coin donation for a shopping bag full.
hours of operation:8-30 am to 3-30 pm.

PAPER
Newspapers,magazines,junk mail,cardboard,officepaper and washed milk cartons are collected kerbside by a recycling
contractor for the Launceston City Council fortnightly. Calendars in the form of a fridge magnet are distributed to each household with their areas collection schedule..
